Waiting area lighting

Waiting area lighting

Cheerful, calming and agreeable – that is the kind of lighting atmosphere required for waiting areas in an outpatient department or outside examination and treatment rooms. Such lighting helps relax and reassure anxious patients and their companions. Where waiting time can be killed by reading, at least 300 lux illuminance is needed – more than the 200 lux minimum required by international stand for the general lighting.
