Outdoor exhibition lighting

Outdoor exhibition lighting

Museums and galleries with a courtyard or garden like to use the space as an additional showcase for exhibits. Some installations and sculptures are specifically made to be exhibited outdoors; others may be too large for indoor display.

Where outdoor exhibition space is used for presentations at night, lighting is required. Directional lighting heightens the visual impact of exhibits in a game of light and shadow; orientation lighting makes paths and steps visible and safe.

Open air museums generally exhibit buildings – e.g. in the context of a historical village – and normally close to the public when it gets dark. Artificial lighting here is often used only inside the buildings. Where a museum remains open after dark, path lighting is also required.(more information please visit www.greendyled.com)
