Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions is still a key element of corporate communications - and the appearance and impact of a stand at a trade fair is significantly shaped by its lighting. For the lighting designer, the challenge here lies in meeting two distinct sets of requirements: the needs of presentation areas and those of communication zones. In presentation areas, where requirements are comparable to those of a shop window or salesroom, accent lighting is dominant.
